It's said that every dancer carries two versions of themselves: the one who works, who tires, who practices until their feet hurt, and the "Second Shadow."
The Second Shadow is the version of the dancer who lives in the soul. It doesn't see the fluorescent lights of a gym or the imprints of a linoleum floor. Instead, when the music starts and the embrace closes, the "Second Shadow" sees only gold, velvet, and the echoes of a thousand years of romance.
When these two dancers locked eyes in that simple room, they were no longer in a rehearsal room. Their passionate strength was such that the world around them couldn't help but reach out to them.
