Crystals & Athletes | Did you know that motivational speaker and rower crossed the Pacific Ocean in this boat in 39 days? Guess what accompanied him? A crystal point. A special crystal point he received as a gift from Uri Geller that was once a part of Albert Einstein's crystal collection.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to be invited to this years Invictus Games Foundation to meet the team, the competitors, military veterans and other people who have also fund raised for this amazing cause. This really is a fantastic event which we look forward to working with in the future. It was great to get the band together again. Thank you .

38NM to go, less than 24hrs until the team finally steps on land!!

They’ve travelled so fast the last couple of days thanks to storm Calvin that they’re now having to slow down using drogues to ensure they arrive when the sun is up (not a must, but the experience for them coming into Kauai is 100% better when they can see properly)

We can’t wait to see them!

Current ETA 21 June 06-07:30 local Kauai time / 16:00-17:30 UTC.

toughest.row will be live-streaming the finish on FB and YouTube. We’ll share the link in our stories.

Next post will hopefully be from the boys themselves 😃

Thanks all for following along, and don’t forget to support via:

HALF WAY TO KAUA’I 🎉

The half way mark is a huge milestone for the team (reached last night) and even though they “still” have 1102NM to go, it feels like they are “almost there” 😆

Let’s celebrate this milestone by helping them reach their £100K donation goal for 2 amazing charities:

You can also support them from home by joining in on the row!
-Row 2km
-Donate £2 (or any amount) on Row2Raise.com
-Tag 2 people to join the challenge 🚣‍♀️

Also don’t forget to tag so we can repost and share with the team to keep them motivated 💪

A huge thanks to those that have supported us:

WEEK 3 RECAP - 4/7 Update

The highlight of week 3 was probably Barney’s birthday celebration. The team surprised him with cake, Percy Pigs and marmite peanut butter - and of course they sang and played happy birthday on the ukulele 😉

The water has considerably warmed up now and they’re rowing on warm currents which means their cabins have gone from being really cold to really warm over night. Sleeping bags have been put away. They hope to reach the half way milestone in the next day. They currently have strong tail winds and waves in their favour, however the current is going in the opposite direction. What looks easy to row in is actually quite hard and hurting their hands even more (see Paris’s hand in pic) 🆘 manicures needed in Hawaii!

Day 6- 17/06 Update!

We’ve received the first image from the Team on the Pacific! Brothers Oli & Harry Amos are on shift while Paris & Barney get some well deserved rest. So far they’ve been rowing 3 up 1 down during the days to try ensure they make the best headway in tough conditions, and 2 up 2 down at night to allow for recovery.

Harry writes:
“We’re alive and well…we’re fighting through weather conditions pushing us in the wrong direction, and spent one night on para-anchor, but we’re currently making headway West which is great. Missing my girls”

Go team!
