UAE Cross Country ROAD Trip

Observe how none of the team members crossed over the barrier until the last individual was assisted. This is because effective teamwork relies on collaboration and support for one another. It is essential to recognize that the strength of a team is only as robust as its weakest member. Therefore, it is crucial not to neglect colleagues who may require additional assistance, even if you have completed your portion of the task. Final Day 5 - 06 April 21

This is the last day of our trip!
Sunrise from the Radisson Blu resort in Dibba/Fujairah was the perfect beginning for the day!
The resort is located so aptly that we each room I’m sure had the sunrise view from the balcony!
We saw shoals of fish and also a turtle swim in the clear cool waters of the sea.
The sand storm had subsided and we could plan to spend some time on the beach and pool of the resort.
After check out we head out via Dibba Al Hisn to the RAK Khatt springs, which is closed during this pandemic. They have closed the tourist places and also the Hotel RAK Khaat spring Resort is shut down as of now.
We drove to the RaK and Oman border called the Al Dara Check post! With this we completed the entire Country drive!!
Although we did Um Al Quwain Port, Ajman Port and Khalid Port Sharjah.. but those are located in the heart of the cities.
So the statistics go like this:
Total distance travelled: 2,150 kms
Journeying from Oud Metha Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ruwais, Sila, Ghuwaifat, Al Ain, Hatta, Kalba, Fujairah, Khorfakkan, Dibba, , Ras Al Khaimah, Um Al Quwain, Ajman , Sharjah and finally back to Dubai - Oud Metha , home sweet home!

This is just the beginning of a journey to explore our country UAE where we have been treated like family!

Day 4 - 05 April 21

Serenaded by the magnificent views of Al Ain city from atop Jabal Hafeeth, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. The weather was incredible and extremely pleasant, we were looking forward to day 4 of our exploratory journey. After a sizeable breakfast, we hit the pool and slid down the multiple water slides available at Mercure Grand. Our first destination for the day was the Mezyad border post. This was just the first of the seven border posts we covered over the course of 6 hours!!
Following this we were lucky enough to visit his highness the President‘s birthplace and palace in al Ain city; Although we were not able to enter the palace due to security reasons, it was nevertheless a breathtaking sight!
Our group then moved on to the next border for the day which was the Khatam border. This was very memorable as we saw a fantastic residential complex on the UAE side as well as the border fence being built on the Oman side! After seeing borders number 3, 4 and 5 we stopped for a quick bite at seashell cafeteria- so simple, yet such delicious burgers! Yum 🤤
We then progressed along our course towards Hatta and Fujairah, through an incredibly quaint but mesmerising road that wound up and down the mountains.

After finally checking in to the Radisson Blu hotel in Dibba, we ran to get changed and jump in the pool. Unfortunately 2/3 pools were shut and the Red Pole had been raised at the beach, meaning we couldn’t swim in the ocean 😞 We did manage to dive in the freezing water of the kids pool but did not last long in there 🥶
The highlight of the day however was the walk down the pier where we were buffeted by near hurricane like winds, and witnessed the true force of Mother Nature on the sea, the sand and us. Winding down day 4 being very sad that our incredible journey is nearly over... more to follow on day 5
