DISCONNECT to RECONNECT
This past year has been tough from many aspects mainly not being able to travel and see my family back in Egypt. Sometimes all you need is a complete switch off. The past 10 days I took an Insta break, unplugged and spent time with my family ❤️ after a year of not seeing them. AlI I needed is to spend quality time with my loved ones with a free mind and just be present, it was unbelievably a great feeling. I’m back to Dubai with a grateful heart and a clearer mind.
This is just a reminder to give yourself permission to listen to your body, listen to your exhaustion and have the time to pause and reset.

Greatest learning/ insight from the lockdown
This lockdown has taught me different things, but two important learnings is how I calm my inner chatter, to slow down and take the time to pause and be mindful of what is happening. We can’t control what is happening but we can challenge ourselves in the way we respond in what is happening by how we consume our time. For me it was self knowledge, learning new skills to deepen my practice and joining a 50hrs teacher training.
Second important thing is being grateful and counting my blessings, grateful for my health, my family ❤️and what I have achieved this year.
