Day 5 of is Dolphin pose. I enjoy practising dolphin as it strengthens the shoulders, back and core and helps to build strength for Pincha - forearm stand 🐬

Day 2 of is any Backbend so here’s my camel pose in the desert and at home in Dubai. Camel pose is a beautiful heart opening pose which perfectly suits our mantra for today....

Experimenting with some core strengthening drills in crow pose inspired by as well as the entry pose into Bhujapidasana, inspired by

I enjoy practising arm balances although I don’t tend to include them often in my regular practice. My tips are to engage the core and press firmly down with the hands to make the shoulders protracted and super strong.

•MEDITATE•
Day 10 of Meditation is the practice of stilling the mind. It might just be for a few moments or a few minutes, but it has so many benefits for your well-being. A few minutes of meditation each day helps me to find some calm and to relieve tension after a hectic day.

It’s a while since I practised this variation of headstand as I tend to always choose tripod arms. It was fun to play around with leg shapes this morning ā¤ļø

•Safety Tip•
When practicing sirsanana, push down firmly on to the forearms to make your shoulders really strong and to take the weight off your head and neck.

Playing around in Bakasana, crow pose at the beach this morning. Grateful to be able to spend time outdoors. It’s my parents’ last day in Dubai today, we’ve loved having them stay so much. Hopefully it won’t be to long before we see them next ā¤ļø

It’s the holidays!
After what has been one of the most challenging terms for teachers worldwide, it’s finally time for our winter break.
I feel very grateful to be able to relax and recharge with my family and friends. I’m thankful for special moments and for all the little things too ā¤ļø I’m hoping to find some time for my yoga practice alongside lots of fun with my boys.
