Impact Racing Team

Impact Racing Team has been a bit quiet in the recent months on the social media side, but we are still going strong on the track!

Our main championship was Virtual Racing e.V's VRTCC, where Robert Wiesenmüller won the title by only 4 points ahead of Jan Stange. In the teams championship, the Impact Racing Cupra Team (Robert / Dirk Knatz / Mike Bell) secured the title ahead of the sister team Impact Racing Alfa (Jan / Rico Kistenmacher / Klaus Schluze).

Jan and Klaus tried their hands on iRacing recently, especially in the LMP1 class. Several cars were toasted, but by now they can compete on a world class level.

In addition, Robert qualified for the A1 eSports LAN final in Vienna on rFactor 2, as one of only eight drivers. The final didn't go too well, but... he was there and it was a great experience!

Several of our old members made the swap to EURONICS Gaming, where we still support them, and Impact driver Marcel Lipp is in one of their endurance cars on Assetto Corsa.

With new seasons of Esports WTCR, Virtual Racing and A1 eSports coming up, you will hear more from us again!

Impact Racing and EURONICS Gaming will start in the Virtual Racing Lounge Virtual Racing e.V 24h Endurance Series. The season will kick off at the Dubai Autodrome Circuit this week. This will be the last race for most of you our drivers, because from then on they will be racing for EURONICS Gaming. As Goodbye/Thank you gesture we will drive a divided skin. Unusually the qualifying is already on Thursday, the exact times can be found on the pictures below. As well as your driver lineups.

One of our last races this year will be the Raceunion Virtual Racing e.V 3h XMAS Race at the Nürburgring with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup! Tim Jarschel will start from P4, you can also check out his onboard lap, and Ralf Piringer from P20. Die Hälfte der 6. VRTM-Saison ist bereits geschafft. Im 5. Lauf versammelt sich das Fahrerfeld am 07.11.2018 in den Dünen von Zandvoort.

Der Circuit Zandvoort hat ein anspruchsvolles Layout und einige Höhenunterschiede aufzuweisen. Die vielen mittelschnellen Kurven und häufige Lastwechsel zerren an der Konzentration der Fahrer. Auslaufzonen gibt es im Prinzip nicht und ein kleiner Fehler kann hier schnell zu vielen Positionsverlusten führen.

Das Rennen am Norisring hat für viel Chaos gesorgt. Diverse Crashs haben das Fahrerfeld ordentlich durcheinander gewirbelt. Ralf P. konnte hier jedoch seine überragende Pace auf seinem Lieblingskurs ausspielen und 2 Siege einfahren. Dahinter kamen jeweils Vincent J. und Marc L. durchs Ziel. Dennoch konnte Vincent seine Führung in der Gesamtwertung noch halten und das Imapct Racing Team seine Teamführung weiter ausbauen.

Wird es den Impact Racing Team-Fahrern auch in Zandvoort gelingen, das Feld anzuführen oder kann Marc L. von RoR Performance hier seinen ersten Sieg einfahren? Schaltet ein, wenn euch Heiko Stritzke ab 20:30 Uhr im Livestream durch das spannende Rennen in den holländischen Dünen führt.
