Yesterday was tough.
Once again, the race didn’t go as we had hoped. Nicholas had to step off the course during the Mainz Half Marathon, echoing the painful déjà vu of last year’s Frankfurt Marathon.

After weeks of hard work, discipline, and sacrifice, this setback hits hard - not only for him, but for all of us who’ve been on this journey together.
The effort was there. The heart was there. But sometimes, the body has other plans.

We won’t sugarcoat the disappointment. But we also won’t let it define us.
This is part of the sport, part of the story…

It hurts, but this isn’t the end. Something new will come from it.

Relentless. Focused. Determined.

Our Qazim training group is deep in the grind, pushing limits and sharpening every stride. With the first races of the year fast approaching, every session is a battle against fatigue, against doubts, against the competition that lies ahead.

From the dirt tracks to the high-altitude trails, these athletes are putting in the work, embracing the pain, and transforming it into power. The sweat, the struggle, and the relentless pursuit of excellence define this journey.

Champions aren’t made on race day – they are forged in training.

The first step has been taken 💪
A remarkable debut for Nicolas Mwiti in the Qazim Sports team! 🌟
Today he competed in his first race for the team at the “County Cross Country Championship” in Maili Tatu, Meru. Despite challenging conditions with rain and a muddy obstacle on the track, Nicolas performed excellently.
After the fourth kilometer, he stormed forward with unrivaled energy among the 427 participants and confidently secured first place 🥇
His time of 29:47 minutes for the 10K is remarkable given the conditions.

Allow us to introduce our athlete Nicholas Mwiti, a professional runner from Meru, Kenya. He lives and trains in Iten, the home of champions. Nicholas is 26 years old and will be starting his first international races for our team next year. We are all excited and looking forward to the upcoming season. Through this channel, we would like to share more about his daily life, training, and races in the future.
