39+ 5 days pregnant, our last day of working out together for a little while, just before we headed to the hospital that evening, last walk, around the hospital , with a bump, last fun with the bump and .....
The moment I became a mother, Cliff a father, us a family👨‍👩‍👦. I’ll never forget looking into eyes and feeling more in love with him than I ever thought possible. This was the beginning of the rest of our lives 💙❤️

38 weeks pregnant and trying anything to bring the baby earth side haha 🇦🇪

This is the video where you can see the separation started and where you can also see I’m controlling it through my breathing

21-23 weeks pregnant and the baby is the size of an aubergine. No workout recorded this time just because I want to talk a bit about breathing in pregnancy, how important it is and when to modify the core/ lifting exercises. As you can see my bump started to grow pretty fast after 20 weeks that some of the leggings were leaving marks on my tummy 😅
On the first video(I’ll post it after as FB doesn’t let me post it) you can see my abdominal muscles started to separate which is 100% normal as it has to make space for the baby to grow..... that doesn’t mean you have diastasis recti or you can’t train anymore.... you can see that once I’m breathing properly, using the deep core activation where I’m pulling my pelvic floor muscles in wrap my TVA muscles around I can control that tiny separation and intra abdominal pressure and I can still do the exercises for as long as I can keep that engagement. If you do the deep core activation breathing and you’re still doming ( second picture) / conning then it’s time to modify the exercise. Both, the video and the last picture shows intra abdominal pressure that can lead to core dysfunction later so be aware of that. Just because you can that doesn’t mean you should do an exercise. Modify as you need, earlier or later depending of everyone’s body. 🇦🇪

17weeks pregnant and the baby is the size of a pomegranate. Prenatal yoga is amazing to release some tension and relax the muscles, clear your mind and meditate about how amazing your body is. I’m using for my prenatal yoga sessions and I love it. I used it for the normal yoga sessions before my pregnancy but now I’m using the prenatal version of it. You have so many choices, even sessions for pelvic pain like SI joint pain, lower back and you can make them as long as you want starting from only 15min. Totally recommend the app. 🇦🇪

13 weeks pregnant and the baby is the size of a peach. You’ll not always be in the mood to train or motivated but dedication is what keeps you going. Since I’ve got pregnant I’m even more aware of what I’m eating and making sure I’m exercising as it’s the only time in life when you’re responsible for another life..... you can already influence baby’s life since they’re in your womb by eating nutrients dense food and exercising. I remember I wasn’t feeling 100% in the mood to train that day but guess what I kicked my ass out the door and went and moved a bit. I’ve only@done 30min walking that day and I felt so much better afterwards. ACOG recommends minimum of 150min of exercising per week which broken up can means 30min for 5 days for a healthy mom and baby. The point is remember you might not always have 1h or feel motivated to do a tough session but even 30min walk will make a difference, any type of movement matters 💪🏻 🇦🇪

and I can’t wait to be the parents of this wonderful blessing. Stay strong and happy baking baby boy❤️👶🏻
For the next 40 weeks I’ll post one workout per week so you can get an idea of what is safe and what muscles to focus on while pregnant.
But please please this is My Journey, please don’t compare or expect your to be like anyone else’s. We all have different experiences, different pain, different start, different doctor clearance during pregnancy so please feel free to DM if you have any questions or for exercises substitutions/ modifications
The first picture is just when we found out we’re expecting and the baby was the size of a grain of rice

Today it’s just some stretching and mobility moves. I’ll just link below the 30min yoga video I’ve just done. You don’t have to feel bad if you’re not interested in training right now, I totally get it. These times are pretty chaotic, for sure but even some meditation and a bit of stretching can keep your mind sane and drive away some of the anxiety we all have to deal with at these times.
Take care of your mind as much as you’re taking care of your body 🙏🏻

Today was just a 30min run in those Kangoo boots I’ve brought back from Ireland. Went for some fresh air, kept distance from people and went and done some loops where there were no people around. Stay at least 2m away from people and go and enjoy that fresh air if you need too. Avoid restaurants and crowded places.
