Chasing an instinct โก๏ธ
Joumana loves drums ! She came across on Facebook. And she put the two together. She felt would match her personality. Her curiosity was piqued and she wanted to know more. The next thing she was sitting on a plane, travelling to Italy to do her training with ICON Nadia Mirra in December 2017.
Teaching โก๏ธ
Being a personal trainer in fitness, Joumana never imagined she would fall in love with a group fitness programme let alone enjoy being up on stage ! But teaching pound was the next big thing to happen post her training. In February 2018, she taught her first class in her hometown Beirut, Lebanon.
Moving to UAE โก๏ธ
Fifteen days before lockdown on February 29, 2020, Joumana moved to the UAE. She took classes at Fitness First Dalma Mall , with Rund Hamadeh and Reem As a full timer PT, unfortunately she didn't have too many chances to share more classes with other or . Joumana has now relocated to Dubai and is looking at opportunities to teach in the emirate.

How often should I lift weight?!
When it comes to exercise, workout more isn't always better, especially when it comes to lifting weights. YES, you do need to continue to challenge yourself to improve, but NO, you don't need to lift weights with the same muscle group every day. In fact, you shouldn't, because your body gets stronger during the rest periods between workouts, not during the workout itself.
For Beginners or for those who are coming back after a long break, start by lifting weights 2-3 times/week, doing a full-body workout with one to three sets of each exercise. And Don't schedule those weight-training days back-to-back. Your muscles need a rest between workouts.
For advanced people, If you want the most gains, you should train each muscle group twice a week. it grows more than when you train it once a week.
Lifting triggers growth in a muscle for a window of time that lasts about 48 hours. When that window is over, youโre no longer building muscles unless you train the muscle again, which will allow growth for another 48 hours.
