"You have to be odd to be number one."

I wanted to share the moment that truly lit my fire for largemouth bass fishing in a major way. Prior to this, I had been fishing and enjoying kayak bass tournaments, but I was a die hard musky angler, and I didn’t think it a small green fish would ever get me as amped up as those big toothy monsters did. (Probably worth noting that prior to this, my PB largemouth was barely 6 lbs) It’s been almost 5 years since I’ve shared this clip, I actually took out a lot of my “reactions” the first time I shared it because I felt a little ridiculous for my reactions 😂 However, I’ve since learned, that watching someone who is absolutely overjoyed to be fishing, hunting, playing ball, riding horses, really anything for that matter, is inspiring.
