It was a beautiful dive site. Ruby Reef had lots of eels, harlequin shrimp, schools of snappers, and nudibranchs.
Inchcape 10 had so many eels around the shipwreck and thousands of snappers.
Stonefish too. Can’t wait to dive there again!

🌟 10 Fun Facts About the Spanish Dancer Nudibranch! 🌟
The Spanish Dancer (Hexabranchus sanguineus) is one of the largest and most spectacular nudibranchs in the ocean.
1️⃣ Giant Nudibranch – Grows 20–30 cm on average, with some reaching up to 60 cm!
2️⃣ Unique Movement – Crawls like other nudibranchs but can also swim when threatened.
3️⃣ Why “Spanish Dancer”? – Its flowing, red, skirt-like movements look like a flamenco dancer.
4️⃣ Striking Colors – Adults are bright red/orange; juveniles are lighter with purple or yellow accents.
5️⃣ Toxic Beauty – Stores toxins from the sponges it eats, making it dangerous to predators.
6️⃣ Night Owls – Hides during the day and is most active on night dives.
7️⃣ Symbiotic Friends – Often hosts Emperor Shrimps that clean parasites from its body.
8️⃣ Reproduction – Hermaphrodites that lay pink, rose-shaped egg ribbons.

Water temperature: 27°C
Good to be back at the Fujairah dive site. We were able to see large schools of snapper, eels, stingrays, boxfish, cleaner wrasses, many different nudibranchs, a sea snake, and both soft and hard corals.
