It’s time to step up and support our MAHE Dubai Cricket Team!

Our own MAHE Dubai Cricket Team is *representing UAE* in the *Red Bull Campus Cricket World Cup 2019*, being played at the _ICC Cricket Academy, Sports City, Dubai._

Our team won amongst all the Universities across UAE and now are going to compete against the best University teams from _India, Pakistan, England, South Africa, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka._

*Our first match is against Pakistan on 29th Oct and the second match is against Sri Lanka on 30th Oct.*

It’s a great opportunity and we must go to the venue in huge numbers, support our team, and help them leave a strong mark in the tournament.

In order to help you reach the venue, *University has arranged transport* to and from the venue; details of which are given below:

*29th Oct*
Match Timing: 10:30 am
Vehicle Timing: 9:00 am
Return: 2 pm

*30th Oct*
Match Timing: 10:30 am
Vehicle Timing: 9:30 am
Return: 2 pm

In order *to register for the transport*, you must drop a request to the Transport Department together with an _approval from the Program Coordinator_. (Attendance will be given with prior approval) Last minute entry and entry without the Program Coordinator’s approval will not be entertained.

We request maximum number of students and staff to come join us in supporting our students and helping them win the World Cup!

We would like to congratulate all our students at MAHE Dubai for a wonderful event. Thanks to all the student athletes, volunteers, photographers, transport department, IT department and facility department for their continuous efforts throughout the event.

Please go to Sports Cabin (Block-A) between Sunday 9:00AM-Thursday 12:00PM to register your team.
Please check the General Rules first posted on the board, then Scan the QR code for your sport and fill in the form.

Congratulations to our Men's Cricket Team on winning 1st place in the University Premiere League 2018. MAHE Dubai Cricket beat Bits Pilani in a very close final game to secure the 1st place and bring home the trophy. Congratulations and great start to a successful year!

JAMES MICHAEL LAFFERTY is going to visit MAHE Dubai Campus tomorrow from 10am-12pm!
He hopes to inspire us with his motivational speech on, 'Making the leap from being a winner to being a champion'

We would like to congratulate our amazing student-athlete Nabil Hussain (2nd Year, Mechanical Engineering) on his spectacular performance during his two Race Weekends!
Nabil was awarded the 'Rookie of the Race' award for a total of 5 Races.

First Race Weekend: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Nabil drove 6 races all together out of where he bagged 4 podiums, and brought back home 7 trophies.

In 1300:
Race 1- 2nd Position
Race 2- 3rd Position
Race 3- 1st Position

In 1600:
Race 2- 3rd Position

Second Race Weekend: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

We are mighty pleased to announce that Sports Team has done a tremendous job during the Amity University Dubai Sports Festival, held last week. There were 20 Universities from all across the UAE who participated in a total of 10 sports events, and placed in 6 of them:
Basketball (Men): 1st place
Volleyball (Men): 1st place
Badminton (Men): 2nd place
Cricket (Men): 2nd place
Cricket (Women): 3rd place
Badminton (Women): 3rd place
