People are too obsessed about having a 6 pack abs even though their strength, fitness and health are being compromised. Whether it’s Physical Health or Mental Health are being dealt just to please other people. And likewise, the problem of people around where they expect you also to have a 6 pack especially if you’re going to a gym, even though they don’t have. How ironic. I’m not advocating being fat. It’s unhealthy to be obese. I just don’t want to pressure a person about their choices because not all skinny are healthy and not all overweight are bad. Maybe they have reasons to be like that. You need to know before you judge. “NO TO BODY SHAMING”

Focus on every single rep. Don’t just count the reps. Make it a quality rep. Try to feel the muscle, area or part that you’re trying to workout. Whether it’s your Pecs, Traps, Bi or Tri make sure that you’re the one that controls each rep. Not the momentum, not the gravity but the muscle that you’re trying to exercise.

As they say, Slow progress is better than no progress. That’s why if you succeed on reaching your goal it doesn’t matter if you made it a little later than the other because the most important thing there is you made it to that point. You reached it. Like what we always say back home especially every basketball game “we still gonna see you in the finals” because that’s how we are optimistic on ourselves that whatever happens we will get there. So having trouble about your fitness goal, Struggling with your training, or stressed out with your work. Calm down, look at things holding you back. If you could disregard them then go if not then keep on reaching your goal but you know it’s difficult. Or better to reset and change the plan but the goal will still be the same. Whatever it is, once you succeed. “YOU” succeed.

Being consistent is really you key to achieve and be successful with your goal. Wether it’s about fitness, job, business, or about life in general. As I’ve said last time there are some roadblocks that you gonna encounter while achieving your goal but again being consistent with your plan to achieve it will definitely make you still closer to that goal. Don’t Stop! It won’t take you back but it will never take you anywhere as well.

Why sometimes we have clients or students that tells you that they are going to the gym because they want to release some stress and tension from work? Here’s why:
Each time we exercise and voluntarily put our bodies through a state of stress, raising our heart rates and our breathing, we remind our bodies that being in a state of stress does not necessarily mean we are in danger.
