Just completed Menopause Workplace Awareness training.
Is this something that is talked about in your workplace ? Do you believe it is something that everyone needs to be made more aware of ? Should male colleagues be involved in these awareness sessions ?
In the uk next year large organisations will be required to have a menopause action plan . Do you think organisations are ready for this ?
I’d be really interested to hear people’s opinions 🤔

Testosterone is an important hormone that also declines during the menopause.
Many people think of it as a male hormone which is true but women produce testosterone too. In fact women produce 3 times as much testosterone than oestrogen before the menopause.
Levels drop around the time of the peri menopause and menopause and stay lower thereafter.
Testosterone plays an important role in
💪muscle mass
🦴bone strength
❤️cardiovascular health
🧠cognitive performance and concentration
😴quality of sleep and energy levels
😊libido
Many women taking HRT find adding testosterone may experience the following benefits
1.Improved energy
2. Improved muscle mass and strength
3. Improved concentration, clarity of thought and memory
4. Improved sleep
5. Increased libido
At the moment in the Uk the NHS only recommend if you have severely reduced libido. However in the UAE we are able to access it from qualified hormone Drs.
If you feel you are struggling and are taking oestrogen and progesterone it is worth discussing the possibility of adding testosterone to your HRT.

Estrogen (oestrogen) is one of the hormones that fluctuates and then declines during the menopause.
This hormone affects many systems within our body hence the numerous symptoms you can suffer with during peri menopause and eventually menopause.
Not everyone will suffer and some may have only mild symptoms but if you have numerous symptoms it is worth consulting a Health Care professional for help.
Don’t suffer in silence.
Please reach out via DM if you need and help or advice.

These are 3 things that often contribute to challenges during weight loss.
Mindless eating can be something we all do. By tracking what you eat for a few days really helps you understand what you are doing and the triggers that start you eating. Having this information then helps you start finding a solution.
Nighttime snacking is also a common problem this can often happen because you have not eaten enough during the day. Understanding how much you need to eat throughout the day really helps and by planning your meals you can allocate some calories for an evening snack.
Skipping breakfast is fine if you are not a morning person and don’t feel hungry but it’s important to ensure you have something available later that you can eat on the run when you do feel hungry then you don’t end up making poor choices.
These things are all easy to fix if you understand what you can eat over your day / week .
If you are struggling with your nutrition and would like some help please reach out by DM. I offer 1-1 consultation.
