Responsibility for r@pe is with the r@pist!

Nothing to do with the victim's:
• Clothing.
• Their alcohol consumption.
• Whether they walked home alone.
• Whether they flirted.
• Whether they changed their mind after previously agreeing to something.

I've seen lots of posts lately on how boys and men don't need consent education, they know exactly what they are doing and they just don't care.

🍇 culture isn’t just about the person who commits sexual violence.

It’s the jokes. The excuses. The silence. The bystanders who don’t speak up. The systems that fail to hold people accountable.

Yet again, the headlines are highlighting more men's violence against women and girls and raise serious questions around consent, bystander responsibility and accountability when sexual violence is reported.

We need to stop teaching girls only how to avoid danger, and start teaching boys and men not to do it.

EMPOWER GIRLS. EDUCATE BOYS. CHALLENGE SILENCE.
