We all know how hard it can get sometimes as a mum, and sometimes we forget about ourselves. Trust me I know as a mum who suffered with postnatal depression after having my son. I joined a class just like this and it lifted me and made me feel great. So I decided I wanted to create that for other mums! I absolutely love what I do and I love my mums. I cherish my mums and little ones and the relationships we have all made together. A community who support each other. We are more than just an exercise class. Hi π my name is Megan and here is a little about me and what I doβ¦.
3 years ago I had my beautiful son Blake π. After having Blake I suffered with a prolapse, postnatal depression and my confidence took a huge dive. Although I loved being a mummy, I also felt a sense of loneliness as though I was the only one going through this. I now know I was not the only one so many women go through this. Fitness was a big part in rebuilding my confidence both physically and mentally helping me become the best mummy I can be for my beautiful boy.
I wanted to create an environment where us mums and mums to be can come together and have a good workout releasing those endorphins . With no childcare needed bonding with little ones at the same time. As well as a good catch up after class.
Below β¬οΈ is some information about my classes and one on one sessions
Mum & me class-
Mum & Me is a fun and energetic exercise class which welcomes all mums, mums to be & grandmas. It is low impact, a bit like a LBT/body pump class. It has been specifically adapted for any new mums or pregnant woman. All fitness levels are welcome and there is no need for childcare, as little ones will join us as itβs great bonding time and I love getting little ones involved π. All standing exercises are safe to do whilst baby wearing. I am also fully trained in baby wearing. After class I always love having a catch up with all the mums and mums to be β€οΈ! Lots of exercises for prolapse and abdominal separation are included, helping to promote that rebuilding on the core. All routines are choreographed by myself and changed every 6-8 weeks to allow for progression πͺ.
One on one-
My one on one sessions are a little more personal and tailored to your lifestyle and personal needs. One on one sessions will be in either a gym environment or the comfort of your own home. Diet plans are also available upon request.

And thatβs a Wrap! My last Thursday morning class at House of Grit & Glory today. What a pleasure it has been to teach these classes at such a fabulous gym π! A huge thank you to all the mamas and little ones who have supported me by coming to my classes! I am really going to miss you all π©β€οΈ! I have loved every moment and I am so thankful for the friendships me and Blake have both built during this class π₯°!

The good news isβ¦.. although I will be moving to Dubai, these classes will still be running, as another instructor will be taking over πππͺπͺ

1. Stay active
Continue your routine as normal. Or keep moving even if itβs 30 minutes per day! Consistency is key π
2. Maintain not gain
Focus on maintaining your current progress. Donβt feel guilty for enjoying yourself. A few indulgences wonβt effect your hard if balanced with healthy choices
3. Manage alcohol consumption
Choose lighter calorie options and stay hydrated between drinks.
Enjoy Christmas, but donβt completely ruin all the hard you have done so far πͺ
