Few days ago, I heard a yoga teacher say: “Never teach for free. Always charge and charge well.”
And it made me pause.
Not in judgment… but in reflection.
What is the true relationship between money and spirituality?
Do we walk this path to become teachers… or to come closer to ourselves, to evolve and grow?�And when something real is touched within us… does it become something to SELL, or something to SHARE?
I understand we all have lives, responsibilities, bills.�But still… something in me wonders:
Should money lead in a space that was once rooted in simplicity, presence, and inner transformation?
Maybe money has a place…�but a quiet one,�a gentle one.
Not at the center.

I read a post today that expressed something very close to what I’ve always felt, the post was not about modern yoga or spiritual practices. But as soon as I saw it, it resonated deeply with our modern spiritual days.
It reminded me of a moment we once had during a yoga class.
The class was meant to be practiced without AC — the room temperature was already perfectly moderate. When one practitioner entered, he immediately turned the AC on.
I smiled and gently said, “No no… tonight we’re practicing without AC. We need the natural room temperature.”
He replied, “But I want the AC on.”
I explained, “This class works better without it.”
And he said, “But I’m your client. You should make me comfortable and do what I want.”
I smiled again and said, “Here, we don’t have clients. We have students and practitioners who come to learn.”
The post I read today brought this memory back, because it reflects a bigger shift happening in our spiritual spaces.
In yoga, meditation, and many spiritual paths today, classes can easily become a business, students start seeing themselves as “clients,” and teachers begin acting like sellers.
Of course, this does not apply to everyone — there are many authentic teachers and sincere students who still walk the path with honesty and depth. But it’s also true that the world is full of people who show up in perfect yoga outfits and polished spiritual language, yet lack genuine intention or inner work.
The reminder is simple:
Be aware of your intention — whether you are teaching or seeking knowledge. The inner motive is what truly shapes the journey.

Dear Practitioners and Students,
I am thrilled to share the news of Beit Mariam’s opening during Ramadan, ISA:)
Every time I’ve hoped to open our space, it seems the construction crew has other plans—what a laugh! But if all remains peaceful, we will proceed with our classes according to the schedule below.
We will be holding classes for the first two weeks of Ramadan, and I will keep you informed if there’s an opportunity to extend our time together.
This year, I am overjoyed to welcome a wonderful group of teachers who will be joining me at Beit Mariam during Ramadan. Each of them brings a wealth of knowledge and passion. As we know, Ramadan is a deeply spiritual month, and these practices can help us find tranquility and a more mindful pace in our daily lives.
I look forward to seeing each of you in class. The schedule is effective immediately!

AND WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN!
We are going to Nepal again this year😀 but this time is different as we added another destination to our route that is full of life, nature and magical scenery:))
This year, collaborating with we will start our path to mindfulness journey with the experience of the Monastic life, followed by merging with nature in chitwan’s safari park ending with the beautiful culture of the capital…Kathmandu.
In every step we will learn more about mindfulness practices, yoga essence and the Nepalis Buddhist wisdom.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT SILENT RETREAT IS?
Its is claiming your right ti disconnect from all the distractions around you for few days, to only focus on your well being on so many levels, physically, mentally and emotionally.

This year we are hosting Nadine Helmy our Sound therapies to support us through our journey with silence through her magical sound healing sessions and workshops about the frequency of sound and its impact on us.
This year we will spend one week together in nature, spending 5 days in silence, receiving knowledge, blending in nature, eating and sleeping well and reflecting on the magic that is manifesting in SILENCE.
