The truth behind transformations.

Alot of coaches don't tell you that their clients have been training for a long time. Alot of people leave out that their clients are enhanced.

What is the relevance? Building muscle, natural or enhanced takes time. Staring of with a decent amount of muscle also further helps a s**t load.

Learning how to train hard and withstand pain also takes time.

Here my old client Sergeant Lucas had the privilege of being able to focus on his training and diet due to the flexibility of his job.

We were able to train for 2 hours and get into some post workout cardio. This makes a huge difference. 2 sessions of his a week is equivalent or more than what most people get to even go to the gym.

He is from a military background so compliance was never an issue.

We were working on an 11 week time limit due to him being due for a 5 year delayed hernia surgery.

Whatever I told him to do, take or eat he did. This is not the case with most people due to many reasons that I will not get into.

So when you see great transformations and wonder you aren't getting the same results. Don't be discouraged. These are the realities.

It's your journey, don't keep comparing yourself with others.

Shaven versus not shaven.

Want to look leaner for the beach or that pool party?

This helps.

Other advantages of shaving is that you sweat less.

Deodorant works better. Some of you'll don't even use deo to the gym.

You can see your muscles clearly versus hiding under your hair.

The fitness industry is not just about six packs, biceps and ass.

It's about improving the quality of people's lives.

How many of you know people who are sick? Lifestyle diseases?

I believe that when our time comes, there is nothing that can stop you from going. But what we can do is control the time we have available on this earth.

I've seen and still see so many friends and family pass away, remain sick and generally suffer because of poor lifestyle choices.

It's becoming an epidemic of inactivity.

You don't need a single cent to do some physical activities. Don't have legs? Use your arms and vice versa. There are people out there who don't have both and still make a plan.

Let's stop make excuses for why we can't and start making reasons for why we can.

Hex bar/trap bar deadlift.

If you have this available in your gym, it is a great alternative to use instead of using the normal straight bar.

The design of the bar helps lift more weight and in a safer way if you are still learning how to do the traditional deadlift.

The handles of the bar are higher, which put you further away from the ground. This essentially makes it easier. Ever see anyone put mats underneath the weight plates? It's the same concept. This takes away the risk involved when first learning your traditional deadlifts, which is usually in the lower back.

The neutral grip makes it possible to hold more weight without the use of straps.

Something to add into your training arsenal.

Get strong, be safe.
