Self reflection is a humbling process. It’s essential to find out why you think, say, and do certain things.. then better yourself. Being driven can often come at the cost of being too hard on yourself, but self reflecting, and understanding that we all are humans after-all and never perfect, it only matters if you reflect and change for the better ❤️

How to easily set up your diet ! ( Save for future reference)
1️⃣ Calculate your maintenance calories (calories consumed = calories burned). You can use different equations, online calculators. I like to use trial and error to be completely honest.
2️⃣ Start with a small calorie deficit, anywhere from -200 to 300 to begin with and then adjust based on the speed at which you drop fat !
3️⃣ Set protein to 1g/lb bodyweight, unless bodyfat is substantially high, then set to 1g/ lean mass. Set fat ( 0.3-0.55)/bodyweight ( or lean mass if bodyfat is very high).Lastly fill up the rest of calories with carbohydrates. ( 1g protein = 4 cal, 1g carb = 4 cal, 1g fat = 9 cal)
4️⃣ Utilize intense training 3-4 times a week and use cardio as and when required as a tool to create a larger deficit for quicker fat loss.
5️⃣ Focus on lean meats, healthy fat and complex carbs as staples. Fill the rest of your diet with food you enjoy.

Fitbit Surge is a unique one of a kind fitness tracker which allows you to track calories burned, steps taken, sleep and monitor different activities.
What I find unique about this product is that it can track weight lifting as well, which is what most of the other trackers did not. I would definitely recommend this product for a gym goer as it is an all in one fitness tracker.

Tip for today and moreover like a reminder to everyone who want to be healthy and strong that they need to keep track of macros which essentially consists of carbohydrates,fats and protein.
Keep the ratio of 30:20:50 !

So just to clear out few folks about how muscle building is different to weight loss:
When you want to initiate muscle growth and increase your size you need to up your carbohydrate intake along with your protein intake because of the simple reason that it helps body repair those damaged tissues after a heavy gruelling workout.
For those who want to get a weight loss it's pretty straightforward. Keep your protein intake high and carbohydrate intake low which means cutting out on the overall calories.
Keep a 1500 cals diet and burn in about excess of 1700 to lose fat gradually and not feel weak because of the cut down on calories.
