With the 7s season just around the corner, we want to congratulate captain on his amazing Speranza22 career following his retirement from 7s.

Ben first pulled on the S22 jersey in 2017 and has since played 23 tournaments for us, winning:
- Dubai International Open x2
- Bournemouth Elite National Cup x3
- Summer Social Elite Cup
- Bristol Fijian 7s

And many more, totalling 13 trophies across his S22 career. Ben and his family have played a huge part in making Speranza22 what it is today, and we’re proud to carry Neal Magee’s name on our shirt at every tournament we play. Ben became a nightmare for opposition across the circuit, winning many tournaments but always doing it with a smile on his face and Marco on his mind💙

The whole Speranza22 family is devastated to hear that Matt Gallagher passed away at the weekend.

Matt was a really special person, who left a lasting impact on many Speranza22 players and supporters from across the world.

We were lucky enough to have Matt present our shirts at the 2024 Dubai 7s, a true honour.
