U13 Girls Dubai Hurricanes

A great way to celebrate the season of giving - In Fiji, some kids cannot afford their own rugby kit & are forced to use a plastic bottle wrapped in newspaper & tape as a rugby ball. We decided this year we would give away our surplus kit to the schools in the home country of one of our senior mens team members. We picked from a hat, and Fijian Pio was selected. Pio travelled to Fiji,14,070 kms to personally hand out the kit to the grateful recipients. You can see from the images how thrilled they are to have our kit.

They have been distributed to the mainland (Viti Levu) and 3 schools in the second largest island (Vanua Levu). The 15's set and 7's set are for a village rugby club - Naruwai Rugby Club. The names of the chosen schools are below & it just shows it’s the little things that count. Who thinks we should do this every year? !

Kukri invite all Dubai Hurricanes members to their Cricket Day at the ICC on Thursday 21st March 2019. Playing in the T20 Pro Tournament will be: Lancashire County Cricket Club, Surry County Cricket Club, Team USA Cricket and Team UAE. Both Oval 1 and Oval 2 will be on a continuous stream for some TV and YouTube Channels.

If your kids want to bring memorabilia to have signed there with be autograph stations open throughout the day.

There will be F&B and fun activities on whilst the T20 is on.
