Does Playing Many Sports Make Kids Stronger?
Playing multiple sports improves coordination.
It improves adaptability.
It improves exposure to different movement patterns.
But it does not automatically build physical capacity.
More sports = more volume.
And volume without capacity becomes overload.
You can play three sports and still lack:
• Eccentric strength
• Tendon resilience
• Repeat sprint ability
• Recovery efficiency
Multi-sport exposure is valuable.
But capacity determines sustainability.

The body doesn't lie.
I hear athletes say, “Yes, coach, I get it.”
But listening isn’t proven by your words — it’s proven by your body.
If you’re really listening, I’ll see it in how you land, how you move, how you carry yourself, and how quickly you clean things up.
Nods don’t change mechanics. Adaptation does.
You don’t need to talk more.
You need to move better.
That’s how I know you’re listening.
