Final Event :
21 Deadlifts (90)
16m DB Regional walking lunges
15 Cleans
16m DB Regional walking lunges
9 Shoulder to Overhead
8m DB Regional walking lunges
Phew, I love this kind of finale! No mistakes allowed, pretty tough after 5/6 events, and lunges to the finish line are great for spectators and athletes 💪🏽
Unfortunately, I got NoReps on the lunges for not stepping over the line and for correcting my feet—totally deserved, but those few seconds can quickly cost you a few spots.
Anyway, moving on—it was still a blast, and then looking out at the crowd and knowing: I made it to the for the fifth time—priceless feeling!
Thank you for all the support.
France, you were amazing; lots of Germans were there too, even at the same hotel as us, and I can only keep saying: I’m living my dream 🫶🏽✨
best equipment for CrossFit 🥰

Recap Event 5A&B:
5RM front squat from the floor & 120m handstand walk for time.
I’m actually known for being strong, but that was my worst finish last weekend, coming in 11th 😂 Honestly, and I didn’t expect everyone to be that strong. We decided to go for 155kg on the first attempt and leave it at that. Playing it safe.
Well, next time I’d rather go 10kg higher, because I still remember how disappointed I was in myself for not going higher. Because doing RPE7 in the semifinals feels weird. The handstand walk felt good despite my battered triceps, and 3:05 min. was enough for 6th place.

Event 4 :
40 toes to bars
20 dumbbell bench presses
30 box jump-overs with step-downs
20 dumbbell bench presses
10 rope climbs
20 dumbbell bench presses
30 box jump-overs with step-downs
20 dumbbell bench presses
40 toes to bars
During practice, I split the first toes to bar and did the box jump-overs at a relaxed pace. On the floor, sandwiched between & , that strategy went out the window, and we opted for unbroken toes to bar, fast box jump-overs, and fast bench presses. Yay 😂
The bench presses were harder than I thought—I think I’m still sore from them—and then 32/8 toes to bar to finish fourth.
That’s enough!
A little more discipline on the rope climbs next time and then top three 😇
On paper, the workout looks awesome, right?

Event 3 :
6 Rounds of
15 Double Dumbbell Thrusters (2x22.5 kg)
15 Burpees over the line
Phew, I was nervous about that one. In this field, everyone can do thrusters and burpees, and the key is to remember not to start too fast, because otherwise you’ll probably regret it in rounds 5 and 6.
I paced it well and finished 5th overall, did the thrusters unbroken, and tried to push through the burpees. Want to try this workout? 🦦

Event 2 :
2 Rounds:
20 cal EchoBike
10 Snatches (80)
10 Bar Muscle-ups
2 Rounds:
20 cal EchoBike
10 Snatches (60)
10 Bar Muscle-ups
I didn’t have any times from other athletes for this workout; I just knew that all the movements suited me.
I hit the floor and was the first one through the EchoBike—and on my way to the barbell, I thought: f**k, eventually that wasn’t so smart.
But I was able to keep up the pace and, in the last round, stop Jason from doing the snatches as fast as I was. And boom, event win—that was good for my head, because I knew how annoying the next workout was going to be.
for the great grip on my hands & AllMove3 on my feet—perfect 🫶🏽

Event 1 :
900m Run
1000m Row
1200m Feedsack Run
1000m Row
900m Run
On paper, this isn’t my kind of event, based on past results.
However, since I’ve been working a lot on my running with since September, this was another chance to test my running in this tough field. I was able to significantly improve my time from training & avoid cramps with the Energy Gel 😇
Enough for 8th place & the first event always sets the tone for how the weekend feels. In the starting line, all the athletes are together & you get a sense of the competition’s vibe
