So it taken a while for me to get to this post out as life has been a bit hectic, but with the excellent support from -nardin for the Aramex D2M the 29th running of the Dubai to muscat race
WE WON 🏆 IRC overall title for the second race on the bounce and our 3rd double handed win. Just missing out on the race to the top by 24 seconds and beating TWISTER'S previous best time to Muscat by 2hrs and 15 mins. This was a tough one with good strong wind and waves for the most part but we did get the required calm for a while in the middle. Mitch was also not particularly well for a good part of the race and we reached Muscat tired and wet but smiling for a warm welcome from the team a Marina Bandar Al Rowdha. Great start to the Double Handed season for Matt and Mitch, a solid 2nd in a strong fleet to kick things off. This was following on from a strong start to the commodores cup season when the team pulled off the double bullet!!
