SS Thistlegorm shipwreck is awesome and iconic and my bucket-list-dive. The most famous Red Sea wreck sunk 80 years back. It became one of the most famous dive sites. The fully loaded cargo decks and the historical importance are unreal. I joined a fantastic Egypt liveaboard trip and spend 1.5 comprehensive days on the famous wreck.

I just found some shots I took earlier this year. It’s a burrfish a smaller cousin of the famous porcupine fish. Just much smaller just 15 cm. I found them with the Yellow-lined Fusilier at the Inchcape 2 wreck in Fujairah.

My preferred photo motif in underwater photography. The Red Sea Anemonefish with Bubble-Tip Anemone in the family Actiniidae, so cut and colorful. This anemone is generous in symbiotic partnerships 😊 and can live with seven different species of anemone fish

This looks almost beautiful if it wouldn’t be soo sad! Coral bleaching is always like far away, but it happens in Khorfakkan, hole in the wall. I would say 25% is impacted. However there is still zooxanthellae in many coral and hope for the winter season.
