**World Strongman Expands Its Competition Disciplines**
World Strongman is entering a new stage in the development of international strength sport.
As part of its strategic expansion, WSM is launching the process of inclusion, technical development and pilot testing of additional strength disciplines, including **Arm Lifting**, as well as new strength relay formats for future competitions.
The **Strict Curl** discipline had already been previously introduced into the World Strongman system. **Rauf Kazimov** has been appointed responsible for its international development.
The development of other strength / power disciplines within this new direction is planned under the coordination of **Alex “Hammer”**.
This step is aimed at expanding the World Strongman competition system, creating new opportunities for athletes, coaches, organisers and national federations, and strengthening the global visibility of strength sport.
The signed four-party cooperation agreement with FSSR, SNM and FSR creates an institutional basis for expert exchange, pilot events and the development of selected disciplines within the World Strongman system.
FSSR becomes the official WSM member from the RF, while SNM and FSR act as partners in the development, promotion and organisation of strength sport events.
One of the first experimental formats will be **Relay Hammer**, which is planned to be tested through FSSR as part of the technical approval process.
All new disciplines and formats will be reviewed in accordance with WSM procedures, including competition rules, judging standards, athlete safety, equipment control and anti-doping principles.
World Strongman continues to develop as an international sport system — expanding disciplines, strengthening standards and opening new pathways for athletes worldwide.
