Problems in the process of deporting Afghan refugees from Pakistan; Afghan refugees say that many families are currently stranded on the other side of the border on their way to Afghanistan.
Afghan refugees say that the Pakistani government is charging tens of thousands of rupees per vehicle from Afghan refugees before allowing them to move into Afghanistan.
They further state that they, along with their children and women, remain stranded for days and nights, and as a result are facing severe shortages of food and drinking water.
Afghan refugees are calling on international organizations to increase pressure on the Pakistani government so that the deportation process can be carried out in an organized, swift, and humane manner.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says that recent floods have caused widespread destruction across several provinces of Afghanistan.
OCHA adds that dozens of health centers in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Zabul, Logar, and Badghis have been damaged, and many schools have been destroyed, affecting the education of thousands of children.
According to the report, more than 214 people have lost their lives in the floods, while thousands of homes have been destroyed. OCHA has warned that funding shortages and damaged roads are severely hampering the delivery of humanitarian assistance to affected areas.
