At the latest General Annual Meeting of the Afghanistan Rugby Federation, and in accordance with Article 21 of the Federation’s Statutes, the presidency of Haris Rahmani was extended by an absolute majority of the members present.

This decision was made in view of the current situation in the country and to ensure the continuity of the Federation’s activities. The Federation expresses its appreciation for his valuable services and wishes him continued success.

Despite battling injuries, Zakir Slaimankhel showed incredible determination to compete in the medal games — proving it’s more than just a game.
