Last weekend Antigua hosted the 5th Budget Marine Antigua National Optimist Championship 2023. High wind and fierce competition made it an exciting event with plenty of skill on show. Congratulations to Patrick Greensmith who emerged as the Overall Optimist 2023 Antiguan Champion!

Antiguan sailor Emily Gaillard, becomes the youngest person on record to ever compete in the Caribbean RORC 600, aged just 15. Battling high winds and big seas, Emily participated as a crewmember on the Farr65 “Spirit of Juno”, sailing 600 nautical miles around 11 Caribbean islands in one of the most challenging events of the racing season.
