Jolly Harbour Yacht Club

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Donna Whitney, a much-valued friend and past member of our Yacht Club Committee.

Donna gave her time and support to the club and her contribution to our community will always be remembered. She was a friendly and familiar face and her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

On behalf of everyone at the Jolly Harbour Yacht Club, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Kevin, and to all of Donna’s family and friends during this very difficult time.

Yesterday Tim & Lucy were kindly received by the Commodore of the Solomans Island Yacht Club Maryland. Pennants were exchanged and beers drunk !
If any JHYC members happen along this beautiful area be sure to call in. They will give you a very warm welcome.
By the way they have accumulated 545 Burgees so far !

Only 4 Weeks to go. JHYC and Friends annual Eastbourne Reunion. Saturday 4th July 2026. BBQ at Eastbourne Sovereign Sailing Club 5pm, Vintage Buses 10am Sunday and Fish & Chips on the beach Sunday 5th @ 5pm. Come for 1 day or more. Now the season is coming to a close for some, Tim & Lucy would like to wish all members a fantastic summer wherever you are.
We are proudly flying the JHYC burgee whilst on our American Loop Adventure.

The "Marks Brothers" of J H Y C heading to replace one of the marks in five islands bay. Bit of a farce at first as mark would not stay upright so back to port to get some chain to weigh it down.
