At Omololu International School, academic success is about more than what happens on exam day. We believe in creating a pathway that allows our students to achieve without compromising their wellbeing along the way.

We approach CCSLC as an important stepping stone to CSEC, not simply another set of exams. Our Grade 8 students sit their CCSLC subjects as their Middle School exit examinations, helping them build a strong academic foundation before moving into the CSEC years.

Through CCSLC, students begin developing the habits and skills they will need to succeed at the next level: becoming more organised, managing their SBA workload, strengthening subject knowledge, building confidence, and learning how to prepare effectively for formal examinations.

Our secondary level students sit CSEC subjects progressively across Grades 9–11, rather than carrying the pressure of completing all of their examinations in their final year. This approach gives students the time and space to focus deeply, build confidence, and manage their academic workload in a way that prioritises both achievement and mental health.

These results are worth celebrating, but so is the journey behind them: students who worked hard and persevered, and teachers who gave their time, encouragement and countless hours of support.

⏳ 7 DAYS TO GO! 🎤🇦🇮

The countdown is officially on! Over the next seven days, we’ll be introducing the seven talented contenders who will compete for the coveted 2026 Junior Calypso Monarch title.

Today, we kick things off by meeting Contender #7 – Mighty Justice!

Ten-year-old Liam, better known by his calypso sobriquet Mighty Justice, is a student of the Omololu International Primary School whose love for music and singing inspired him to enter this year’s competition. When he’s not rehearsing, you’ll likely find him on the football field or flying aircrafts on a flight simulator. He describes himself as kind, caring and a superstar, qualities he’s ready to showcase on stage.

This year, Mighty Justice will perform “Who Can’t Hear Gon’ Feel,” a calypso that reminds children to listen to the wisdom and guidance of their elders. He promises a performance that’s dynamic, entertaining, and full of energy, while sharing a meaningful message with the audience.

🎟 Join us on Thursday, 30th July, at 6:30 p.m. at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre and cheer on Mighty Justice and all seven of our incredible young calypsonians as they entertain, inspire and compete for the 2026 Junior Calypso Monarch crown!
