Two of our cyclists had the opportunity to represent Anguilla in Antigua today at the Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union Invitational Race and the OECS Cycling Championships, which made a welcome return to the cycling calendar after nearly seven years.
Our riders, Craig Emmanuel and Patrick Niles, made us proud, securing first and second place respectively in the Masters Category for both races. Their performance was a true display of determination, strength and the competitive spirit of cycling.
Congratulations to Craig and Patrick on an exceptional performance.
We also wish to congratulate all other participating cyclists, especially those who represented Anguilla, our Junior cyclists, Kamari Ruan and Ephraim Hodge who were second and third respectively in their category for both races and Carl Avery Thomas who was third in the Sports Category for the ABWU Race.
