YOUR EXPERIENCE:
5+ years' experience as a Customer Service
Experience with online gaming communities, either as a player or industry work
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Working knowledge of using a calm demeanor to handle escalating situations with impartiality
Excellent and effective problem solving and time management skills
Effective verbal communication and written skills
Creative, self-driven with a strong work ethic
A passion for game development and technology
PLUS:
Knowledge of Daybreak Games' titles
Knowledge of an array of video games on PC
Knowledge of Game development

Nexus is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated contract Community Coordinator to connect our fans with the teams who are launching Fortnite . The ideal candidate will have experience in engaging online communities across different platforms from social (think Insta and Facebook) to gamer focused media like Twitch.
Responsibilities:
Engaging with our players across Fortnite, Fortnite Battle Royale and league of legends through all relevant communication channels
Being the face of Epic in the market through streams, video creation , and offline event participation
Identifying and highlighting high-quality community generated content
Providing feedback to game teams on the community’s general sentiment, new ideas , and top concerns
Hosting and promoting both small and large tournaments aimed at exciting participants and spectators alike
Identifying and building productive long-term relationships with key influencers across a variety of online platforms
Qualifications:
Experienced gamer, passionate about multiple game genres
Well-versed in key social media platforms (insta, Facebook, YouTube)
Great written and verbal communication skills (will be writing in communications channels and may also create content. Blogs, etc.)
Familiarity with content creator space (YouTube, Twitch)
Some direct experience managing a gaming community
Experience creating content
Bonus: some level of on-camera experience
