The Memorial Complex of Tsitsernakaberd erected in Yerevan in 1967 commemorates the 1.5 million of Armenians died during the First Genocide of the 20th century committed by the Turkish government. The Memorial became the place of pilgrimage and an indivisible part of the architecture of Yerevan. Since 1967, every year on April 24 thousands of people visit the Memorial Complex.

Trchkan Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia and has the tallest vertical drop at a height of 23 meters. According to legend, a villager saw trout jumping up and over the entire waterfall so they called it “Trchkan” which in Armenian means “jumping”.

Situated on the territory of Dilijan National Park, Mount Dimats opens a stunning and breathtaking view of the rocky walls of the Ijevan mountains.

Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet or simply known by locals as Opera was designed by the Armenian architect Alexander Tamanian. It consists of two concert halls: the Aram Khatchaturian concert hall with 1,400 seats and the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Theatre with 1,200 seats.
There is a round square in front of the Theatre of Opera and Ballet named “Azatutyun”- Freedom. The Freedom square is one of the favourite spots of the locals and the guests of the city, it's a lovely place to stroll and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the city.

Pulpulak - probably the most unique thing about Yerevan. Armenia is well known for its reserves of fresh water which gives Armenians a great opportunity to have fresh drinking water fountains in every corner of the city.

Zvartnots temple (celestial angels) - 7th century wonderful architectural masterpiece. The remnants of Zvartnots, even in ruins, are a majestic sight.
