We know this hurts. Right now, the result may feel heavy, and it's okay to be disappointed. But we want you to remember something that is far more important than any scoreboard: this result does not define who you are.

It does not erase the countless hours you spent training, the sacrifices you, your families, and coaching team made, the discipline you showed when no one was watching, or the heart you poured into every practice and every game. Those things matter, and they will always matter.

We've watched you grow—not just as players, but as teammates, leaders, and young women of character. You fought for one another, picked each other up, and never stopped believing. That is something to be incredibly proud of.

Life won't always reward your hardest work with the outcome you hope for. Sometimes, the greatest lessons come through disappointment. This moment will make you stronger, more resilient, and even more determined for whatever comes next.
