πŸŒ³πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ Amidst the various projects currently ongoing across our sports facilities, our maintenance team continues to focus on the small improvements that make a big difference to our users.

At Melford Hazel Sports Park, the walking path has been cleared and reopened, making it easier for walkers to enjoy their daily exercise around the facility. We also completed our scheduled six-month heavy trimming of trees and vegetation throughout the park and installed two new garbage bins to help keep the area clean and welcoming.

Investing in coaches, empowering the youth!

As part of the Sport Unites! program in collaboration with the St. Maarten Sports Federation - SMSF, our coaches are currently participating in a Youth Empowerment Training facilitated by our partner, A "Fresh Start" Foundation.

Sport Unites! uses sport as a tool to help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and create positive connections within their communities. By equipping our coaches with additional tools and knowledge, we can create an even greater impact both on and off the field.

During the session, coaches explored topics such as building awareness, confidence, communication, and leadership, while developing their own vision boards to strengthen their role as mentors and positive role models.

⚠️ NOTICE ⚠️

Please be informed that the playground at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex will be temporarily closed until Thursday as we carry out several improvement works to the current infrastructure. πŸ› οΈ

We are also excited to share that, thanks to an amazing donation from WIB Windward Islands Bank, an exciting new feature will soon be added to the playground! πŸ™Œ

The current playground equipment has been part of the facility for many years and holds a lot of nostalgia for many in our community, so we are happy to give it a new look and add a new addition that will further enhance the experience for our young visitors.

STAY TUNED!
