Raised by loggers in Baggböle, legend says Göran practiced with a carved wooden ball until a local coach saw his potential. His blend of finesse and raw talent captivated Swedish youth academy coaches. His rise to pro was abrupt after a series of successes. Once a woodland dreamer, now he's carving his own path to soccer stardom.

Wolfgang Petri

Currently on loan for pre-season tournaments, 20 year-old Wolfgang Petri is a versatile right wing back and a naturally gifted defender. He will be sharing time on the right side of the field for . Here's his backstory:

Wolfgang Petri's soccer career started on the cobblestone streets in the medieval fairytale town of Heidelberg, Germany where he would juggle the ball with schoolmates in the fields of its hilltop castle. He credits his family's support and local coach for honing his talent.

Traveling with his family at age 16, Wolfgang spent two years studying in Brazil and Ecuador before the family's return to Germany in 2021. With new tricks from his time in South America, Petri exploded onto the professional scene, eventually signing with Only Dubs Sports Agency.

Dave Tanner: From the backyard to the MFL

Expected to play a significant role in the left side for Sierra Chicas MFC, Dave Tanner is one of the original members of Only Dubs Sports Agency. Here is his backstory:

Hailing from Hagerstown, Maryland, USA, Tanner's first exposure to soccer was in the backyard competing with his two older brothers. His desire to win carried through his years of select level soccer, participating in Maryland's Olympic Development Program before college.

Always technically gifted on the ball, his time at West Virginia University caught the eye of scouts across the world. He hopes to one day participate on the national team and will be polishing his talents as a two-way player to get there. He has the creativity to make it work!

A founding club of the MFL in 2023, the Sierra Chicas MFC is a soccer club sharing in the same splendor as its namesake, the mountain range of Las Sierras de Córdoba. A premier team showcasing its talented club members in the MFL's Silver Division; the club strives to compete on the international circuit. They wear Argentinian sky blue and the golden Sun of May with pride.

Countries come together under the mountainscape of Córdoba at one of Argentina's favorite sporting clubs. The Sierra Chicas play their home matches in front of a typically boisterous crowd at the Gran Meta Estadio de Córdoba.
