Conforme por lo dispuesto por los Artículos 30° y 31° del Estatuto Social, la Comisión Directiva de Old Georgian Club (Asociación Civil) convoca a los asociados a la Asamblea General Ordinaria a celebrarse el próximo 28 de mayo de 2024, a las 18 horas en primera convocatoria, y a las 18:30 horas en segunda convocatoria, a celebrarse en la sede social sita en la calle Juan M. Gutiérrez 3829, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, a fin de tratar el siguiente Orden del día:

“1) Designación de dos asociados presentes para que en nombre de la Asamblea aprueben y firmen el acta.

2) Explicación de motivos por los que la Asamblea ha sido convocada fuera de término.

3) Consideración de la Memoria, Balance General, Cuenta de Gastos y Recursos y Dictamen del Revisor de Cuentas correspondiente al ejercicio cerrado el día 31 de diciembre de 2023.

4) Consideración de la gestión de la Comisión Directiva.

5) Determinación de los parámetros para fijar la cuota social para el período 2024/2025.

6) Designación de Asociados Honorarios del Old Georgian Club.”

Dear Old Georgians,

We are pleased to invite you to celebrate Founders' Day this Saturday 22nd April, the 125th anniversary of our whole school and the 33rd of our North campus.

The day begins at 10:00 with a Celebration Ceremony in the Sports Hall. We will welcome the Head Boy and Head Girl from SGC Quilmes, and enjoy our school and community choirs. After the ceremony there will be a host of fun activities, live music and international foods for everyone to enjoy throughout the rest of the day until the event closes at 16:00.

As this is a celebration of our school, we want to remind you that you are more than welcome to invite your friends and family, from outside our direct school community, to join us. They will be very welcomed to come and experience a little St George’s College North magic with us.

Estimados Socios, el próximo jueves 20 de abril a las 11hs y a las 14hs habrá una Clínica de Rugby bajo la dirección Juan Casajus (entrenador M19), para todos los alumnos entre 1ero y 5to año.

Axel Rionegro - Rugby player. 25 years old

When did you begin to play rugby for the Old G´s?
I joined the Old G team two years ago, in 2020 during the pandemic, and the funny thing is I started by zoom. I play in first division.

What happened last weekend during the match against Casa de Padua?
We were in the middle of the match, and suddenly I saw a Casa de Padua player on the floor.

What was your reaction?
I just started to run to the other side when I saw him collapse. I ran towards him only thinking of taking away his mouthguard. Once I reached him I took it off and right behind me came Marcos, our Kinesiologist and right after him the field doctor that assisted him. He had a head injury and he was having a convulsion.

Do you remember anything else?
If you ask me, I only remember him falling down, running towards him and asking the referee to stop the game. It all felt like hours but the day after I saw the video and realised it all happened in just 2 seconds. Literally!

Do you know how the player is now?
He contacted me yesterday. Told me he had a concussion and because of that he had seizures. He is feeling really good and looking forward to entering the field again.
