Powidl – ever heard of it? It’s spiced plum jam, which is what’s inside a Germknödel. This sweet dumpling is one of Tyrol’s specialities – just as the Hoadl Haus is to the Axamer Lizum ski resort. After all, a day’s skiing there has everything you need: sweeping slopes, a cool snow park, Olympic history and, at some point, the most important question of the day: Germknödel or Kaiserschmarrn? SKI plus CITY says: Germknödel. Best of all, up there at 2,340 metres – with one of Austria’s highest covered sun terraces and panoramic views of the mountains.

The Axamer Lizum simply ‘tastes’ great! And even more so with the SKI plus CITY Pass!

Powidl – schon mal gehört? Gemeint ist gewürztes Pflaumenmus, das im Germknödel steckt. Der süße Kloß gehört zu den Tiroler Schmankerln – genauso wie das Hoadl Haus zum Skigebiet Axamer Lizum. Denn: Ein Skitag dort hat alles, was du brauchst: weitläufige Pisten, einen coolen Snowpark, Olympia-Geschichte und irgendwann die wichtigste Frage des Tages: Germknödel oder Kaiserschmarrn? SKI plus CITY sagt: Germknödel. Am besten dort oben auf 2.340 Metern – mit einer der höchsten überdachten Sonnenterrassen Österreichs und Rundumblick auf die Berge.

Schlick 2000 PLUS Bergisel Stadion & Sprungschanze

Schlick 2000 is all about hassle-free days on the slopes. The resort is compact and clearly laid out – ideal for families, beginners and anyone looking for a straightforward day’s skiing. Wide slopes and short distances mean you spend more time on the slopes and less time travelling between them.
Just a few minutes away, the Bergisel reveals a completely different side to winter. The ski jump, designed by star architect Zaha Hadid, is one of Innsbruck’s architectural landmarks and hosts the Four Hills Tournament in ski jumping every year.

Die Schlick 2000 steht für Skitage ohne Umwege. Das Gebiet ist kompakt und klar strukturiert – ideal für Familien, Einsteiger und alle, die einen unkomplizierten Skitag suchen. Breite Pisten und kurze Wege sorgen dafür, dass mehr Zeit auf der Piste bleibt und weniger im Übergang verloren geht.

Patscherkofelbahn PLUS Innsbruck

The Patscherkofel is inextricably linked with the Winter Olympics. It is here that medals were awarded, races decided and winter sports history made. To this day, the mountain shapes the landscape of skiing in and around Innsbruck. Anyone skiing here is traversing a piece of Tyrolean sporting history and a mountain that many Innsbruckers have known since childhood.
The Innsbruck city centre is just a few minutes’ journey away on bus route J. From the local mountain, you can head straight into city life, where the Olympic story continues. With the Olympiaworld and the Bergisel ski jump, there are two venues that continue to shape winter sport in Innsbruck to this day.

Der Patscherkofel ist untrennbar mit den Olympischen Winterspielen verbunden. Hier wurden Medaillen vergeben, Rennen entschieden und Wintersportgeschichte geschrieben. After a day’s skiing, the Stubay Water Park offers yet another change of scenery: first, altitudes of over 3,000 metres, then warm water at the mouth of the Stubai Valley. The SKI plus CITY Pass already includes a four-hour entry. From the mountain to the pool – let’s go!
Or from the pool back up the mountain: on the Stubai Glacier, the ski season stretches over many months. People who come here aren’t just drawn by the early start to the season. The Stubai Zoo is one of Europe’s best-known snow parks; freeriders can find their own lines off the marked slopes; and from the TOP OF TYROL platform, the view stretches far across the Alps.

The Nordkette is not a traditional ski resort, but a transition – from the city straight into the high mountains. Just a few minutes beyond Innsbruck, a landscape opens up where genuine alpine terrain takes centre stage.
Whilst the mountains begin above, the city remains clearly visible below: the Golden Roof is situated right in the heart of the old town and is Innsbruck’s most famous landmark. A building dating from the time of Emperor Maximilian, it continues to characterise the historic centre to this day.

Die Nordkette ist kein klassisches Skigebiet, sondern ein Übergang – von der Stadt direkt ins Hochgebirge. Nur wenige Minuten über Innsbruck öffnet sich ein Gelände, in dem echtes alpines Terrain im Mittelpunkt steht.
Während oben das Gebirge beginnt, bleibt unten die Stadt sichtbar präsent: Das Goldene Dachl befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt und ist Innsbrucks bekanntestes Wahrzeichen. Ein Bauwerk aus der Zeit Kaiser Maximilians, das bis heute das historische Zentrum prägt.
