Team Korea’s presentation at the Roller Derby World Cup Parade: ”[In Korean: Hello, we are Team Korea. It is a pleasure to meet you.] We are a Korean diaspora from the United States, Canada, Australia, and Korea. Roller derby is the thing that brought us together. This is our second time at World Cup. Our team is small, but we hope our team can inspire more Koreans to become join roller derby. Especially young Koreans, because our average age is 43. We love how Roller Derby World Cup brings so many nations together, giving us a vision of what roller derby can look like and showing how diversity makes the world so much better. [In Korean: Thank you.]”
