Producing climbing skins inevitably creates fabric offcuts. Instead of letting them go to waste, we turn them into something new: durable contour belts made from leftover climbing-skin material.

Happy to have been part of another Arc’teryx ReBIRD™ event in Munich. ♻️
To build a more sustainable system, we need to go back to the basics: repair and care for our gear instead of throwing it away.

Before summer storage, make sure your skins are properly prepared:

Clean thoroughly
→ contour Cleaning Wipes or hybrid Cleaning Spray for hybrid skins

Protect Hotmelt glue
→ use contour Skin Saver Mesh for dust-free storage
→ refresh with contour Adhesive Glue or Transfer Tape if needed

Protect glide & fibers
→ contour Skin Wax / Impregnation Spray prevents drying & keeps glide smooth

Store properly
→ skins must be 100% dry before storage (including glue)
→ no heat or direct sun, and remove skins from skis for summer storage
