We recently run a Paddle UK Introduction to White Water Safety here in Austria. A 1 day course that provides understanding and knowledge to help the participant become a competent member of a group of kayaking friends. Throughout the day we cover 6 models related to white water safety, including equipment we wear and carry with us. We also go through Paddle UK’s CLEAN Principle of equipment we use and wear.
We run various Paddle UK Safety Courses throughout the season here in Austria and we can teach in German, English and Spanish.

It has been a hot couple of weeks here at Base Arlberg in Austria and there is no better way to cool down than on our home run - the River Rosanna. The river cuts a path through the Stanzer Valley giving us continuous whitewater with great waves and moves to make throughout!!

It is great to be back on our home river here in St.Anton am Arlberg. The Rosanna is currently at good levels and with a bit of rain forecasted to top it up it, makes for a great time whitewater kayaking.

There is something about kayaking in the Himalayas! We have been kayaking and leading trips to the Indian Himalayas since 2008 and love showing our guests just why kayaking in India is so Incredible!
We know the rivers so well, we have kayaked all the rivers ourselves before leading kayakers down, which makes for easy logistics and more time to surf and kayak through those big waves. With our amazing team of Steve, Kullu and Shivam you get to experience the beauty of the Himalayas!!!

🇬🇧🇨🇱 Steve Brooks reports back from a photo shoot in Chile on the Rio Fuy with local guide Yiyi, modelling the latest women’s gear. Steve then meet up with Ute and travelled south into Patagonia for a proper 3 day self supported adventure.
