The official page of the Royal Tonga Ski Federation. The participation in the XXII. And as the late King George Tupou V.

In 2014, the Sochi Winter Olympics welcomed a number of new nations to the disciplines of winter sports. Among those nations was the Kingdom of Tonga, that competed with luge for the first time in history. Olympic Winter Games released great enthusiasm and motivation to develop winter sports in Tonga. has always dreamed about Tonga having a ski team competing at an international level, the decision to use the Sochi experiences as a foundation for the further development of winter sports was easily made. The Royal Tonga Ski Federation aims to support Tongan athletes abroad and at home on a professional level, as well as to develop and improve a national infrastructure to promote winter sports (alpine skiing, nordic skiing, snowboarding and luge) in Tonga and the South Pacific.
