Great New for guests staying at the house this year!!…… FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT THROUGHOUT SALZBURGER LAND
From 1 May 2025, overnight guests in Salzburger Land will benefit from the new Mobility Ticket all year round. This standardised ticket is valid for the entire duration of your stay and allows you to use the entire public transport network in Salzburger Land. This includes regional buses, city transport, suburban trains, regional trains, long-distance trains and micro public transport.
This is financed by the so-called mobility tax, which is currently charged at € 0.50 per person (from the age of 15) per night in addition to the overnight stay tax.

Tomorrow (11th March) is the start of the low season lift pass tariffs. Kids upto the age of 18 get free lift passes as long as their parents buy at least 3 day passes. Still loads of snow and quiet slopes now the European half terms are over.

Ski from Austria to Bavaria for €6 extra!! For this season Lofer Alm will offer a new ski pass which includes 7 ski areas in the 3 local regions of Tirol, Salzburgerland and Bavaria. So either buy your Lofer ski pass (€31 per day for an adult or €54 per day for a family of 4) or for around €6 extra per day buy a pass which covers Lofer and also Steinplatt/ Winklmoosalm, St.Johann i. Tirol, Buchensteinwand, Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf and Unken/Heutal.

winter is coming and in preparation we have installed a serious sized drinks chiller convienientally situated next to the map room for apres ski boasting and planning tomorrows skiing. We've also added a few high chairs for the future skiers

A silver chariot for Roland!!
Congratulations to Roland Leitinger a 26 year local lad (St Martin) who won a silver medal this year in the Giant Slalom at the Ski World Championships held in St Moritz. The Lofer Alm have liveried up a gondola in silver to honour his achievement. He is now ranked 15 in the world.
