First semifinal is a tough 4:10 loss.
With just 12 skaters and missing all centers and a total of 6 key players the Monsters show an heroic fight going into the last period (down to 11 guys) just 2:3
The third period is a hefty up and down but at 4:5 in the final 10 minutes the team collapses defensively
We still have one more game to turn things around, hopefully with a more optimal lineup 😉

Three full lines leave just 10 guys from watx not much of a chance. The Monsters (3) beat watx (6) in the quarterfinal with an impressive 8:1 score
The Monsters confirm third place in the league and will meet defending champion mödling (2) in 2 semifinal games
Crazy up and down nerve racker in the last game before the playoffs
Down by 2 early we come back and take a 7:4 lead into the third period….
Which we elegantly lose… for a final 7:7 tie
BUT that point should be enough to stay third in the standings- quarterfinal Saturday march 7th!
