The words by Sosai, saying “ With our head low and our eyes high, with moderate words and generous heart, we will benefit others, on the basis of piety” are the essence of kyokushin. Now we have taken over the will of Sosai by starti

At the kata camp in Switzerland, we had the chance to witness truly high-level performances from different teams.

Every time the athletes stepped on the tatami, we found ourselves watching with our breath held.
The level, precision and spirit were genuinely impressive.

We’d like to share one of these moments with you - a kata performance by the team from Okinawa Dojo. (Shinkyokushin)

Watch and enjoy - really strong work🥋

These athletes are true champions:
florianzurfluh

🥇🥈🥉 individual kata medalists at the World Championship
🥇 team kata World Champions

At the training camp this weekend, where our dojo K.O. Dojo took part, they were called the “Golden Boys” — and honestly, the name fits perfectly.

Watch their kata with your own eyes.
Precision. Power. Control.

The camp brought together representatives of
Kyokushin IFK Switzerland and Shinkyokushin Switzerland.

Do you know which kata this is?

Please watch this fight.

This is not just a fight.
This is what courage looks like.

After a long break from competitions, this young fighter stepped back on the tatami. That alone takes strength.

But what he showed in this fight was something even bigger — heart, discipline, and the will to keep going no matter what.

At such a young age he showed something many adults are still learning:
trust your coach, trust yourself, and never stop fighting.

We are incredibly proud of him.
This is the spirit of Kyokushin. 👊

Small correction from yesterday 😊

Yesterday’s post had a small mistake — it was written late at night after a long day.

🥇 Elias – 1st place in Kumite (Beginners)

These were Elias’ very first competitions, and already at an international tournament (beginners category).
He even chose to fight without a body protector - completely his own decision.

He stayed calm during the fights and followed the coach’s instructions very well.

Overall, our beginners showed great work at this tournament - especially in staying composed and really listening to the coach.
The coach–fighter connection worked very well.

Great start. Keep going. 👏🥋
