We have another ELAC achievement to celebrate - this time on the world stage! 🇰🇷

A huge congratulations to ELAC cross country coach Anna, who will be representing Australia at the 2026 World Masters Athletics Stadia Championships in Korea at the end of August! 🌏👏

While Anna spends her time on the track encouraging, supporting and developing our athletes at ELAC, this time it will be her turn to step onto the world stage.

What an incredible achievement, and such a fantastic example for our athletes that coaches can be athletes too, and there’s no age limit on chasing your goals! 🙌

🏆 From the track to the footy field! 🏉💙

A huge congratulations to two of our Essendon Little Athletics athletes who pulled on the Team Vic guernsey over the last few weeks at the SSA Team Vic AFL Football Championships!

⭐ Emma represented Team Vic White in the 14/U girls competition where she played 5 games in 5 days, finishing with a BRONZE medal! 🥉

⭐ Paddy was also selected in the 12/U Team Vic Boys team in Canberra. Team Vic went 7 days undefeated and won GOLD! 🥇

We love seeing our ELAC athletes taking their skills, determination and competitive spirit beyond the athletics track and representing Victoria at the highest level.

2026 New Zealand Development Tour nominations are OPEN! 🇳🇿 ✈️

The 2026 New Zealand Development Tour is an incredible opportunity for Little Athletics Victoria Under 14 and Under 15 athletes from the 2026/27 season.

A team of up to 36 athletes will be selected and will spend 7 days touring with the LAVic team from 6th-13th of January 2027 and will compete at the 2027 North Island "Colgate Games" in Whangārei.

It was a lovely winter's day for last Saturday's cross country, hosted by Sunbury Little Athletics Centre.

Only 2 more weeks of competition to go, before some of our athletes participate in the State Cross Country Championships!

A big thank you to our generous ELAC community for their contributions to our annual Lachy Day, with all funds raised going to the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne Good Friday Appeal. Next season we'd love to go even bigger, for such a great cause!
