Sam Dodds: Bike fit number 2. This time we altered the cockpit and removed spacers for improved aerodynamics. We also adjusted the saddle position.
The results were FANTASTIC!

We regularly fit ITU juniors for high performance in triathlon competition. In this fit, we made some minor adjustments and managed to achieve over 10% improvement in power output, along with improved comfort and aerodynamics!

Olympic Gold Medallist- Evenepoel

Fresh from a GOLD medal in the Sparke Helmore triathlon, Nicky Western headed to our fitting studio to optimise her TT position! Nicky is a triathlon coach with the Hunter Academy of Sport. We raised her seat height and moved her saddle forward. We adjusted her cleats. Given her front-end was too low, we added spacers to her steerer tube and advised on the purchase of a 110mm adjustable stem. Her aerobars and pads were shifted forward and we advised her on pad angles and aerodynamics. We also gave Nicky her ideal stack and reach figures! THE RESULT: A HUGE 6% increase in power output. At her level, this is a game changer!

Incredible improvement with David Harris and his Canyon TT bike fit! Not only was his position improved markedly in regards to aerodynamics and comfort, he improved a whopping 20 watts from his old position which you can clearly see in the photos! We raised his saddle and moved it further back behind the bottom bracket. We increased his pad stack by 10mm and extended his aerobars out further. We also made a major change to the cleat position on his shoes.
