G’day FUUC’ers

The time has come for our beloved Seaductive to undeego a full pontoon replacement.
This is quite a significalt financial outlay for us, none of which would have been possible for the our dedicated bunch of members that step up week after week to run dives, our amazing members who join us on these dives, and our committee who have worked very hard behind the scenes to help make this possible. The completion of this is expected to be November at the latest and by golly are we keen!!

In the meantime, Safety Snag is fully operational after having the transom replaced and a brand new Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 echo sounder installed ready for those adventure dives!

Keep an eye on the FUUC page for upcoming dives, with the potential for some citizen science projects in relation to the algal bloom on the horizon.

FUUC has some great wreck dive happening this weekend.

Friday night (9 May) Raz is taking the boat out to the Dredge and Saturday Phil (10 May) is heading out to the Claris, a site we don’t dive often.

FUUC, get around Dive Against Debris! The club will be open between 5:00-5:30 tomororw for anyone who needs to hire gear or a tank. FUUC will also be providing a free BBQ at port Gawler for those who are doing the clean up however if you wish to donate a gold coin to the bbq that would also be appreciated! See you there on Saturday!
