Winter is nearly here… and honestly, it’s my favourite time of the year. 🌧️❄️
There’s just something about the cool air, the misty mornings, the sound of rain hitting the roof, and that cozy feeling of knowing there’s nowhere else you need to be.
Sleep gets better. The nights feel calmer. And most importantly… my lovely wife stops kicking me in bed because the hot flushes settle down a bit. 😂❤️
Give me a warm blanket, a hot chocolate (or a cheeky glass of wine), a movie marathon, and the sound of rain outside… and I’m in my happy place.
But what I really love about winter is what it does for the body and mind.
People always complain about the cold, but honestly, I think winter is one of the BEST times for fitness and health. Once you get yourself moving, you don’t overheat as quickly, you don’t feel completely drained after five minutes, and there’s something refreshing about training in cooler weather that just hits differently.
Even with winter cancellations at an all-time high, I truly believe the hardest part is simply getting out of bed. Once you do, your body wakes up, your energy changes, and you realise how good it actually feels to move.
And those misty morning walks with the dog? Absolute magic.
Everything feels eerie, peaceful, wild, and calm all at once. It’s like reconnecting with nature and the wilderness again. There’s a serenity to winter that summer just doesn’t give me.
I’ve never been a fan of the dry heat of summer where everything looks burnt, exhausted, and nearly dead. Winter brings rain, life, greenery, and rejuvenation. The earth starts breathing again.
And maybe that’s why winter feels so right to me… Because at the end of the day, our bodies are made mostly of water too. 🌧️
So here’s to cozy nights, misty mornings, good training sessions, movie marathons, dog walks, and a season that reminds us to slow down, recharge, and come back stronger.
Winter… I’m ready for you. 🐺

MEMBER OF THE WEEK 🐺🔥
This week’s Member of the Week has to go to the big man himself… JAMES! 💪
This year marks James’ FOUR-YEAR Wolfpack anniversary, and honestly, the bloke hasn’t missed a beat. Rarely cancels, always shows up, gets in at least twice a week, and absolutely busts his gut every single session.
The results speak for themselves too — huge improvements in strength, endurance, cardio, and weight loss. But more importantly, James represents exactly what the Wolfpack spirit is all about: consistency, loyalty, hard work, and showing up even when it’s tough.
What started as trainer and member has well and truly crossed the line into genuine friendship, and I’m proud to call this legend a really good mate of mine.
James, thank you for your effort, your attitude, your energy, and your friendship, mate. The Pack is stronger because you’re part of it. 👊
Strength within yourselves. Strength within our pack. 🐺🔥

It appears to be the craze at the moment...
I love how this turned out! What do you think???
26/05/2026
Do you start your day looking at everything doom and gloom… or do you look toward the light and think, “You know what? Today’s gonna be a good day.” ☀️
Now, I get it. Some people will probably ask, “How can you stay positive when everything around you feels like chaos?”
And honestly? A lot of it comes down to mindset.
Before I go any further — I’m not a mental health professional, and I’ll always stay within my scope of practice. I’m simply speaking from personal experience.
This week honestly started terribly for me. Cancellations everywhere, numbers looking down, things you never really want to see as a business owner. And sure, there was a moment today during cardio where the stress kicked in and the heart rate probably went a little higher than it should’ve. 😅
But then I stopped and thought…
“Okay. Another cancellation. What can I actually DO with this time?”
Instead of sitting there frustrated, I used that free hour to jump into my AusActive mentoring course and knock over one of the sub-courses.
Did I waste the time? Absolutely not.
Did I achieve something? 100%.
And that’s the point.
Life will always throw things at you. Small things. Big things. Unexpected things. You absolutely have the right to feel frustrated, upset, angry, disappointed — whatever emotion comes naturally.
But eventually, you’ve got a choice.
Do you sit in that negativity and let it control your whole day?
Or do you accept the situation for what it is, shift your attention, and ask yourself:
“What positive thing can I do right now to make today better?”
Because sometimes the answer isn’t fixing the problem immediately. Sometimes it’s simply using your time better, learning something new, improving yourself, or taking one small positive step forward.
At the end of the day, the choice is yours.
You can focus on everything going wrong… or you can choose to find the opportunity, the lesson, or the light in the middle of the chaos. 👊

104.5 KILOS, BABY! 🔥🐺
The old bloke’s still got it. 😎
Six days before my 53rd birthday and your boy COXIE has officially SMASHED his goal weight.
At the start of the year, I was sitting at 122.5kg thinking: “Righto COXIE… maybe it’s time to pull your head in a bit.” 😂
Original goal? ➡️ 110kg by halfway through the year.
Then the weight kept dropping and I thought… “Nah stuff it… let’s see if we can crack 105 before the birthday.”
Well guess what, legends…
104.5kg. DONE. ✅
Not bad for a bloke held together by caffeine, sarcasm, stubbornness, and questionable knees. 🤣
But in all seriousness, I couldn’t have done it without my amazing wife Carol ❤️, the Wolfpack 🐺, and all my clients backing me every step of the way.
And before anyone says: “Yeah but what about holidays?”
Relax, champions. 😅
I’m about to go away, enjoy myself properly, probably put a kilo or two back on… and then I’ll get straight back into it again.
Because THAT’S the difference now.
No panic. No guilt. No “starting Monday” rubbish.
Just consistency. Discipline. And proving to yourself that you can always get back on track.
Strength within ourselves. Strength within our pack. 🐺🔥
Now excuse me while I celebrate by looking at burgers with absolutely zero remorse. 🍔🤣

🔥 MEMBER OF THE WEEK + HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🔥
This week’s Member of the Week can only go to one man… the legendary ROOOWAN! 🎉💪
Today also happens to be his birthday, so make sure you all flood the comments with some birthday love! 🥳
Rooowan, alongside LEE ANNE, was client number THREE and FOUR ever at Wolf Fitness SA… meaning they’ve been with us for an incredible SIX AND A HALF YEARS! Absolute OG Wolfpack members right there 🐺
Twice a week, every week, he rolls through the doors with consistency, tenacity, and just enough cheekiness to keep everyone entertained 😂
Over the years, I’ve crafted his physique so well that even the girls AND the blokes swoon over him 😎🔥 The man’s basically a walking advertisement for consistency and hard work.
The only disappointing thing about him?
He supports the Essendon Bombers… and well… we all know how that’s going 💀😂
But outside of that minor character flaw, he’s an absolute legend of a human being and thoroughly deserves this week’s spotlight 👏
Happy Birthday mate, and thank you for six and a half years of loyalty, laughs, hard work, and being such a massive part of the Wolfpack family 🐺❤️
Drop a 🎉 below and wish Rooowan the very best!

Business mentoring… to do it or not to do it? 🤔🐺
The other day I was contacted by "AusActive" (https://www.ausactive.org.au?utm_source=chatgpt.com) about offering a newly graduated PT some work experience at Wolf Fitness SA.
For about 30 seconds I had that classic thought:
“Am I creating future competition here?”
Then I laughed at myself.
Because really… it’s a compliment.
Someone looked at what we’re building and thought, “Yep, that’s a place worth learning from.” That’s pretty special.
She’s already done a couple of hours with us and is back again tomorrow. Great energy, great attitude, and genuinely wants to learn.
And honestly… I can’t wait to see the PT she becomes. I think she’s going to do really well, and I feel lucky to be able to help her on that journey.
Because I don’t see other PTs as competition — I see them as part of the pack. 🐺
The fitness industry can be tough, and too many good trainers burn out early because they don’t get the right support, guidance, or mentorship.
That’s why mentoring matters.
Not just reps and sets… but people skills, connection, confidence, client care, and learning how to truly change lives.
On the flip side, I also had a random call asking me to “sign off” a practical without even knowing what we do or stand for.
And yeah… that one didn’t feel right.
Wolf Fitness SA is built on community, care, and connection — not shortcuts.
Strength within ourselves.
Strength within the pack. 🐺❤️
If you’re a trainer who wants real growth, real support, and real mentorship — the door is open for the right people.
